Jesus doesn’t tell His disciples to try to become salt and light; He makes definitive identity statements: “You ARE the salt of the earth” and “You ARE the light of the world.” In this challenging message, Pastor Matt confronts our natural impulse to build our own little territorial kingdoms where we try to remain king, inviting us instead to step out into a decaying and dark society to quietly preserve, heal, and reflect the glory of our Heavenly Father.
