Gather. Serve. Worship.
United WKND is an opportunity for middle and high school students from all campuses to deepen their relationship with Jesus by focusing on the things that unite us as a student ministry! FAQS
WHAT IS UNITED WKND?
United WKND is an exciting two-day experience at Bethlehem Church 316 Campus, where this generation of middle and high school students UNITES to declare that Jesus is the ONE thing driving everything in their lives. Students from all walks of life will be able to gather and connect as they discover new life in Christ.
WHERE IS UNITED WKND?
United WKND takes place right here at Bethlehem Church 316 Campus! Students will participate in Large Group and Small Group sessions on Friday night and twice on Saturday. On Saturday morning, each campus will be assigned an on-site serve project where they can be the hands and feet of Jesus to serve those in need.
On Sunday, students who participated in United WKND are encouraged to attend their home campus for the 9:15 AM service. Please arrive by 8:30 AM to get seated in the student section of the worship center at your campus!
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LARGE GROUP SESSIONS AND SMALL GROUP SESSIONS?
Large Group:
- All students and leaders gather together for an amazing worship experience!
Small Group:
- Students are divided into age- and gender-specific groups for deeper discussion with their leaders.
WHO ARE THE ADULT LEADERS SERVING AT UNITED WKND?
Every adult participating in United WKND (staff and volunteers) regularly attends Bethlehem Church. Most of these leaders are actively serving in student ministry at one of our campuses. Each adult is background check-approved before they’re assigned a role at United WKND.
IS UNITED WKND AN OVERNIGHT EVENT?
United WKND is NOT an overnight event. Students will check in at the 316 Campus at 6 PM on Friday night, and dismissal will be at 10 PM.
Students will check in for Day 2 of United WKND at the 316 Campus on Saturday morning, and dismissal will be late that night.
WHAT IF MY STUDENT CANNOT PARTICIPATE FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND? SHOULD THEY COME?
We would LOVE for your student to come for the entire United WKND experience, but we understand there are prior obligations. If that’s true for your family, please take a couple of minutes and fill out this time away form so we can make sure to plan and prepare well.
WHAT IF MY STUDENT NEEDS TO TAKE MEDICATION DURING UNITED WKND?
If your student regularly takes medication, it would be best for them to do that prior to check-in on Friday night and Saturday morning. If that isn’t possible, no problem! We ask that you do three things for us so we can best prepare and plan for your student to have the best experience at United WKND.Â
- Email us at students@bethlehemchurch.us and let us know.
- Put the medication in its original container inside a zip lock bag with exact instructions on how to take the medication, and one of our medical staff will administer it.
- Bring your student’s medication to our Help Hub tent in the 316 Campus lobby when you arrive for United WKND.
WILL THERE BE FOOD AT UNITED WKND?
ABSOLUTELY! We will have dinner on Friday night, lunch on Saturday, and dinner on Saturday night. We ask that all students eat breakfast before coming on Saturday morning.
*We will also have a gluten-free option for those with dietary restrictions.
