CAMPUS PASTOR
Nathan Unger

Nathan and his wife, Anna, have been married since 2015 and have four incredible boys: Hudson, Samuel, Judah, and Charlie. Nathan has served in ministry for over 10 years and has been on staff at Bethlehem Church since 2019.

Nathan was born in Maryland and grew up in Conyers, GA. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2015 with his undergraduate degree, and got his Masters at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in various roles at Bethlehem Church’s Oconee Campus, including Worship Pastor, Student Pastor, and most recently, Associate Campus Pastor. Nathan is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking with his family, as well as cheering on his boys while they play flag football and baseball.

Nathan loves to equip the next generation to lead people to Jesus and connect families into deeper community as they pursue their walk with Christ.

FAQS
What should I expect my first time on campus?

Bethlehem Church encompasses all backgrounds, ages, and demographics – from infants to senior adults. We invite you to come as you are: no dress code. As soon as you arrive on campus, you will be guided to a parking spot, welcomed by a greeter at the door, and assisted in finding a seat in the Auditorium. You can stop by the Connect Area in the middle of the lobby to ask questions or pick up additional resources, and stop by the cafe for a cup of local, fresh-ground coffee.

How should I dress?

Most people dress in casual clothing. Feel free to come as you are.

What about my kids?
We have a ministry for every age! If you are joining us for the first time, ask any volunteer or staff member to direct you to the First-Time Family area. There, our helpful volunteers will gather your information, explain the check-in and pick-up process, and walk you to your children’s rooms. Our primary environment for students (6th-12th grade) is called MDWK and takes place on Wednesday evenings, although we do have a middle school ministry on Sunday mornings.

Am I expected to give?

No, you are not expected to give. We believe everyone should give according to how the Lord leads them.
