21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

January 10th through the 30th.

Why Pray?

As we lean into a new year, we often want a fresh start in many areas of our lives. Biblical fasting is a great way to “reset” spiritually as it is a discipline with the purpose of drawing nearer to God. Use the booklet to help discover different ways to “fast,” eliminating distractions and helping you renew your focus on God. The booklet will also outline a Scripture focus and specific prayer for each of the 21 days.

Who Should Fast?

Because there are so many different types of fasts, anyone who desires to renew their focus onto God and away from themselves can join us. Even children can participate by using our kids’ version of the booklet. Our desire as a church is to collectively take these 21 days and journey together towards deeper relationships with God. We’re praying that we will have people who are new to fasting, as well as those who have done it before, and that every person who participates will finish the 21 days with a fresh sense of God’s presence and purpose for their lives.

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Matthew 17:20-21 NKJV
