What is Baptism?
We are so excited that you're interested in baptism at Bethlehem Church. We believe that baptism declares to the world you’ve trusted Jesus, joined God’s family, and made a commitment to follow Jesus, heart and soul. Because Jesus instructed us to be baptized, this is an act of obedience. While it is not necessary for salvation, it demonstrates submission to God.
Baptism is both a visual and symbolic demonstration of a person’s faith in Jesus Christ. It signifies that their former way of life has been put to death and depicts the raising up of a new life committed to following Christ.

BAPTISM CLASSES AT BETHLEHEM CHURCH
For adults and students aged 6th-grade and older, watch this Bethlehem Church baptism class video and then fill out the signup form for one of our staff members to reach out to you about our next baptism celebration.
Kid Faith is a class designed for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade to understand what it means to be a Christ-follower. Through creative, age-appropriate, and interactive teaching, kids will learn and realize the importance of a relationship with God. Because the basics are so important for kids to understand, Kid Faith is a required class for elementary-aged children before they are baptized at Bethlehem Church. At least one parent is required to attend.
